Seems not to. There are no ERROR level results from using the
http://username:password@site/ style URLs, but there also aren't
relevant feed items showing up in the result.

At INFO level I get this:

INFO:root:Empty feed, cowardly not updating http://username:password@site/

My last merge was a while back though.
