KeyError's for various wiki feeds

Hello,

I am replying to myself, to a message I sent on July 5:

 http://lists.planetplanet.org/archives/devel/2007-July/001599.html

I get more and more similar errors, for more wikis.
Looking at what may cause them, I narrowed one error, for one feed:

[http://wiki.iona.com/icde-wiki/RecentChanges?action=rss_rc&items=50&ddiffs=1&unique=1]

This is produced by a MoinMoin wiki.
The text mentioned in the error:

KeyError: 'http://wiki.iona.com/icde-wiki/MarcLog/June2007#20070611094814 updated type'

...can actually *not* be found precisely in the page I saved from the
link above (maybe older already?)

Anyway, very similar records are found, as part of *one* single
exptremely long line: 26502 char long.

Can it be that this length is the cause of the problem?

I downloaded now Venus from the bzr repository to a test host, and I
intend to try to reproduce the problem there.
Any hints about debugging this?
I don't know to debug python. I was naively looking for somethinf
equivalent to: 'perl -d', but at least couldn't find anything like
that.
