ImportError: No module named _bsddb

Hi,

I'm trying to run planet.py on OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger) but I run into  
this error. I guess Apple does not provide all the necessary modules  
to run planet.py.
I read in some previous posts that bsddb was optional.  Is there  
anyway around installing all the missing python modules (which is not  
usually painless)?
Is there a version planet that works on Tiger?
