Blog Titles from Technorati Feed

I am using planet to create a widget here:

http://pd.npr.org/anon.npr-www/widget/widget.html

This widget will aggregate stories tagged with the keyword:
nprbloggers (on numerous blogs across the internet) which are then
brought into planet from a single rss feed via technorati:

http://feeds.technorati.com/tag/nprbloggers

However, in addtition to displaying the full link to the article (as
it does now), I would like to include the name of the blog, like
this:

Post-Election Bliss (linked to
http://foshowley.wordpress.com/2008/11/05/post-election-bliss/ )
from: Foshowley (linked to http://foshowley.wordpress.com/ )

Unfortunately, the name of the blog is not something that is included
as part of technorati's rss feed.

I see now that there is an API for technorati which may make it
possible to get information about a blog's title:

http://technorati.com/developers/api/bloginfo.html

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might go about incorporating
this into planet?

Has something like this already been incorporated into planet that I
might be able to use as a model?
