Planet Venus having issues with Wordpress

I just tried running my setup on a different web host I have access to.
Wordpress didn't cause it any problems. I did have to modify the htmltmpl
code to disable file locking so it could read and write the templates (since
file locking didn't work for some reason), and after that it worked just
fine.

So it looks like my other web host introduced something odd into their
python environment that crashes when it hits something unique in wordpress
feeds. Is there any way to turn on more debugging somewhere so I can see
what's causing it to crash?

Steve.
